This poem is dedicated to my friend, J. Allen Wilson who was kind enough to give me the idea of writing about the seasons. Thanks Allen for being the inspiration for this one.

Poem Artwork

Looking out my window
Snow flakes falling on the ground
In their whispering silence
They don't make a sound
Winter time so wondrous
It brings you to your knees
Glistening snow and ice
As God decorate's the tree's

Looking out my window
I hear a robin sing
Buttercups break through the earth
Announcing it is Spring
Everything comes back to life
Resurrection begins
Life's cycle starts anew
And nothing has to end

Looking out my window
I hear the ocean roar
Adults jogging and kids playing
Along the sea shore
Beautiful array of gardens
The smell of summer in the air
Bathing suits and suntan oil
Cotton candy and the fair

Looking out my window
Rustic colors in the breeze
Brown's and red's and orange
Blended in the leaves
Beauty beyond imagination
Nothing can compare
To the season's God gives us
The miracles we share
