Star Dusters

Glittering specks in the darkened sky,
Oft observed in clusters.
Just beyond the man in the moon,
The realm of night star dusters!
They leap around from star to star,
And zip across the sky.
Polishing stars from dusk til dawn,
While clouds go floating by.
Most often mistaken for meteors,
They’re a wonder to behold!
Visible only to those who dream
With a heart that never grows old.
Just gaze into a starry night,
And let your mind be free.
The universe will open up,
And you’ll see the same as me.

The night sky is always so beautiful. Living in the country it is very dark at night and you can see the stars so well. May God bless you every day of your life.

I can remember as a child laying in a meadow or field and looking up at the night sky for what seemed like hours...the world I knew would dissappear and the heavens open up to me...you captured that feeling again with this beautiful poem Anna...

So beautiful, Anna. I remember my Coast Guard days when I was in the North Atlantic on a weather ship, I remember the many times that I'd sit on the depth charge rack on the fantail watching your "star Dusters."
