Strolling in the garden
Pulling out various weeds
The flowers are in bloom
The vegetables need . .
Tender, loving care
I slowly caress the soil . .
Spading it back and forth
Stopping, to see my work at hand
I continue spading
My body feels the warmth
I continue to cultivate . .
As the sun sets
