When we first met
Everything was fresh
With new growth
And no regrets
But as the years
Went by-
The Spring stepped aside
Winter blew in
Coldness and wind
Sleet and snow
My disposition went downhill
We grew apart
Our hearts no longer
Beat together-
You were my Spring
