I did a short stanza at the end of "Fill My Eyes". However, the ending was powerful, so I removed it from the final draft. Here it is in print for the first time.
Makes no difference what I say
Nor how I act
If I can pass the sign that points one way
I won't look back when I say
"Goodbye to Yesterday"
And walk away unscathed

Maybe you should have left it in the book somewhere, since I've read this very interesting and powerful book. It says a lot, in a few words!
