Oh mummy,
What would I do without you?
I would be a flower,
But without the petals,
I would be night...
Without the stars
I would be a persona
Without warmth...
Oh mummy,
How you help me through
My toughest times.
I cannot thank you enough
You are the greatest meaning of love.
You reach so deep into my soul
You open my eyes
To make the world so clear
I thank the heavens up above
To have you with me near
Mummy I need you so much
How strange I find
People who say they can do
Without their mother's advice.
But you are much more than anyone to me
You are the inspiration I carry inside of me
I realise just now... Consciously
No matter my age, I'll always need you near
When you're not physically with me
I always have you in my heart
For you have planted a seed in my soul
What a beautiful tree it has grown
No matter how far you might ever be from me
The roots of the tree
You have planted are deep within me...
I love you with all of my heart and more,
For you have given me the greatest gift of all-
My life.

Tonya, do you have any idea what a treasure this piece will be for your mother? A wonderful write.
ps.-is the pic of you & your mum?

The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
