The Door Shut Today…
The door shut today,
And beauty lay slain on the floor…
Her beloved Knight was cast out,
Left to wander about,
Gated and locked doors…
And the people didn’t want to listen anymore…
So they turned their heads…
And slept in their beds,
Trying to drown out the beating of the drums,
That called them to the war…
But the door…
The door was shut today,
And no one wanted to listen anymore…
And the Knight was locked out-
No one would listen to his shout…
I watched from the top of my mountain,
Safe among the trees,
But I could still see,
The misery all around me…
The Brave Knight put away his sword,
And his Lady climbed aboard,
His mighty steed and they rode away,
And the door was shut today…
I sat down on the green grass,
And watched as truth and justice died,
I heard the final scream of honor,
As I sat here and cried…
No one even asked why,
No one came to stand by their side,
We all stood here and watched as
Truth, love, and honor died…
And all I could do was cry,
And ask why someone would want
Such things to die…
You don’t have to worry anymore,
The Lady and her beloved Knight are gone,
Some damn fool closed the door,
And we shall never see them anymore…

Missing My Friends…
Oh my friends,
We will miss you a lot...
You came to us
Showering the beauty of romance,
Like a spring rain-
We enjoyed it,
We loved the beauty of it...
Don't understand what happened,
Between here and there-
Wished you both could stay with us…
I Wished AD could be showered,
With the Beauty and Romance,
Of Peggy and Debashish Haar-
I wish you both,
All happiness and Smiles,
Where ever you are…

Reindeer this is a powerful lovely write...I don't have a clue as to why they have left...I didn't even know Peg was going....I wish I knew what happened...I did love Peg and her writing and always read Debs poetry and both of them combining their talents was beautiful...I am glad you wrote this to make me aware that they are gone...even though I don't know why....lovely write...heartfelt...floria

This is a nightmare that just won't go away.
Seems like something I would expect to break out during a hockey game, not on a poetry site.
We are just decent people sharing our feelings in poetry.
I can't help feeling a bit stupid being so clueless myself.

Peg is a true lady in every way. Will miss the duets with Debs. But you won't miss them if you buy a book!--or go to Peg's site and check up on her there. Reviews will never be the same without the Lady. :`(``
Well What more can I say...everyone else said it...Peggy was one of my very best friend...she stood by me since day one on the DEN...All I can Add is PEGGY& DEBS COME BACK...we need you here!!

what a fine tribute to Peg and Deb you have written here, and yet admonish those who have slammed the door..I found so much in Peg, as we all did...I despise admonishments by web-masters who claim they have truth when actually they have is blinded information dancing in masquerade...
