Tact in a hat.

The Hat Trick I stood in line At the immigration office About as patient as An impatient person Can be. A young officer Appeared. Slightly overweight With dark eyes Nearly matching her Partly concealed beard. “Remove you hat,” she spat. Imagine that. “And why might I want to do that?” I replied. “Out of respect” said she. “Did someone die?” Replied I. “Sir,” said she. “This is a government office.” “Oh,” said I removing My hat from my head. “I always show respect for the dead.”

lol....next time I'm at any government facility
I will even carry a hat just to lower it to "show my respects"

my first read in a long time and boy did i luck up with this one!
