There was a young man named Demetrius
Who ran like the wind with such easiness
He had no money
But man was he funny
He died and left his feet to us.
There was a sweet lady from Madagascar
Whose souffles were quite a disaster
One fell flat
But hold on to your hat
It arose and shut up the pastor.
Sweet Antoinette
Your jokes are wet
In all my dreams
Your face screams it seems
Still I love to drive your Corvette.
She walked with much grace and such poise
While she taunted all the dear little boys
Then one day she tripped
and went down with the ship
It sank but she saved all her toys.
“Kiss me kiss me show how you miss me"
She implored her lover Ahmin
“You’re the love of my life
As good as my wife”--
She shot him again and again.
Ah, its nice having fun with a little rhyming scheme,
thank you Edward for reminding me how much fun poetry can be.
