Those Who Cannot Remember the Past...
In this land of overrated pleasures
and underrated treasures
I’m glad as can be that
We are the heart and soul
of our nation
The doers
The givers
The fighters and the creators
Who make our land free
And all it can be;
While those good-old-boys
live so easily
In stupefying luxury.
Gilded manipulators are they
Lying all the way
Stealing more and more
With no care for you and me.
Supporting
Insurrectionists
Clinging together in
Gangs of thuggery.
A day of reckoning awaits
It’s in the hates
And the infamy
And the tipping points
Of lies and grief
And lunacy.

We will be free.

But the majority of US citizens believe in the rule of law and fair elections. The first amendment rights must never be abridged by fascists.

and we refuse to live in fear, then maybe we can all
learn to leave in peace, putting each other first,
the way it should always have been from the very start.
Somehow along the way we have lost our true values,
and desensitized ourselves a point of uncaring,
we need to know that if we stand firm and remember
humankind, then we will realize where the true treasure
of our Countries lie, thank you for sharing dear friend :)
