how foolish is greed?
all it’s power and control
the objects of material beauty
we all long for feeling the need
driven by society
removed from true love
olden days forgotten
a time when in a home
a television was rare
material things cherished
and every penny was saved
their career - their work
the job was part of them
What became of it all?
taking what really matters
and setting it aside it seems to be
Greed is a foolish minded social sin
we all must strive to fight against...

this is so true
i still remember the times when there were no commercials for News, Phone company's and all the rest that was for public service.
and when one income could support a house hold.
