We really can't help how we feel about another person. I love this poem - there's a great mixture of inventive imagery and emotion. It's easy to become overwhelmed by someone who has managed to capture a piece of one's heart. Love and Hugs~

Regis, it is the fool who allows others' to dictate his/her heart's and mind's direction. Besides, you see rainbows and beauty that they can't see.. that's exactly why it's special. "They" (and 'they' know who they are) never 'get it'... Carry on, dear heart. You don't need anyone's approval, but you sure do have it! This is a fabulous, gentle rant by a very dear poet. The only thing I know for sure is that the only time I can walk on water…is when I mopped the floor. lol That’s a great poem and besides who really cares what anyone else would say as long as it’s (Happy Wife = Happy Life), so they tell me. Firstly, the graphic is absolutely mesmerising - and a fitting representation when talking about your Goddess! Secondly, I can so relate to this, Regis... perhaps we are just fellow obsessionals, because anything/one who captures my attention just absorbs me completely in the ways which you describe - bit scary, really! Whether that constitutes "foolishness" I don't know - just temperament, maybe. But, as you pen here so well, the "spell" is broken the minute we sense "rejection" and our outstretched antennae recoil immediately - but, hey! Maybe I'm putting too much of my own spin onto this!
