She’s on the Edge
She’s on the ledge of the wall
She wants to let herself fall
She cares for nothing at all
She wanders all around the mall
She really wants it to be fall
She is dancing a last ball
She is in a mirrored hall
She looks in a crystal ball
She is breathing in a squall
She is not even in a thrall
Still it’s me she wants to call
But I cannot help her at all
I too want to fall
With her

To me the poem doesn't flow smoothly from beginning to end but maybe it is just me and the way I am reading it.

Please do not as I am on the pavement below,
And if you land on me I will for the rest of my life have to crawl,
So get it together, don't bawl,
Over spilt milk & urban sprawl,
I beseech thee, please don't take the plunge at all...e
But... please both of you don't fall...
There is always a good ending if you wish it...

I much prefer, although it is rather boring, for you to be "wandering the mall" with her, than falling…

for storytelling...that keeps your reader "on
the edge"...There are moments when we feel as
if we are...almost unable to make the slightest
move...for own advantage...and/or someone's
protection...yet "want to fall"...Relax!
The strongest-invisible hand...softly...magically
catches you both...Go for it...
Thank you Regis, for sharing your poem. Blessings!

Though she's quite tall
She is afraid of it all
She can't here the call
She's leapt from the wall
She's lost in the fall
She knows nothing at all
Nice rhythm in this piece, Reg.
