More limericks just for the fun of words and what they may evoke...

 An Angry Young Cop and Other Odd Stories

An Angry Young Cop

When I entered my friend’s flower shop,
I met an angry young cop;
She was ranting and raving,
About men not shaving,
I gave her a kiss so she’d stop.

A Lady Named Kloss

There once was a lady named Kloss,
Who married a farmer named Floss;
They raised some chickens,
That turned into Wiccans,
Because they fed them magical moss.

A Lady from Nantucket

There was a lady from Nantucket,
Who always had with her a bucket;
But it sprang a leak,
Its future was bleak,
So, she decided to just chuck it.

A Senator Named Duffy

There once was a senator named Duffy,
Who met another named Buffy;
They wasted their time,
Travelled on our dime,
And when caught replied in a huffy.

A He-Man from Lillooet

A would-be he-man from Lillooet,
Fell in a creek and got all wet;
The creek was shallow,
His courage hollow,
He’s now afraid of his own silhouette.

A Man from Merritt

There once was a man from Merritt,
Who crowed about his own merit;
He bragged of his works,
Expected some perks,
It became so no one could bear it.

A Debutante in Distress

A debutante was once in distress,
Because she had a tear in her dress;
I came to her rescue,
With thread made of fescue,
And soon we were off to meet the press.

A Lass with no Home

There once was a lass with no home,
She had nothing on her but a poem;
I asked her to come in,
And when she was within,
She asked if she could see my gnome.

A Fellow Named Robin

There once was a fellow named Robin,
Who loved to play with his bobbin;
He rolled it back and forth,
First south and then north,
He gave it the name of Dobbin.

A Sweet Concubine

I once met a sweet concubine,
Who lived not far from the Rhine;
She was already taken,
Which left me quite shaken,
I wished that she could have been mine.

Some might find it strange but I always wait to read your limericks until I need a pick up and once again you didn't fail me. Loved them all. And by the way, I'm almost a lass with no home.

All of these limericks were awesomely fantastic, Regis, but if I had to pick the one I liked best would be "A Man from Merritt."

Some of your best and I certainly like the ones near the end with sexual innuendo that may limericks what they are… Titillating. I'm so glad that you pressed that debutante's dress before she appeared to the press. When want her to have a wrinkled dress, would we?

Limericks does Regis write.
His words of humor take flight.
We'll chuckle and laugh,
At each paragraph.
Your limericks always take flight.

First paragraph you get the cop and the last you wished for a concubine, brother you got to get yourself a full time female even if it is only a dog, enough to have something to keep you happy...-e-
