I believe all this talk of a WALL is just Trump's distraction from the truth that is about to be revealed by the Muller investigation. Trump is a business criminal who has stolen from working people by not paying them, he has lied to contractors he hired, cheated immigrants that worked for him at his golf courses and cut a deal with Russian Oligarchs to finance his presidential campaign. Our problems will not be solved by stopping immigrants, they are not the cause.

On December 14, 2018, you wrote a short article entitled, “Just a thought on abortion.” In that article you stated, “If abortion had never been legalized, I have to wonder where we would find jobs for all of those people that would have been born.” Allow me to pose the same question regarding a wall. With caravan after caravan of migrants forming in Central America, heading for the United States, how are we to find jobs for all the migrants once they arrive? Further, I live in West Virginia, the state that ranks #1 in deaths from overdosing on illegal drugs. I can name family after family that has been affected in some way—even death. You say there are far better ways of securing our border. Why not use every means possible to stop the flow of illegal drugs into this country? However, some say, “A wall is immoral.” Which is more immoral: a wall or the unnecessary and preventable death and destruction of generation after generation of our precious youth?

I agree fully. Makes me recall the Iron Curtain in the way that people in Eastern Europe tried so desperately to cross over into other countries, even if they weren't welcome in those countries and sometimes, thought of as communist spies.

In 1956, we accepted a new girl in our eighth grade class. She came from Hungary.
