Hospice Fund Raiser 7/19/2009 5:06:35 PM
Hospice is a wonderful organization that works with terminally ill patients and seeks to make their last days ones filled with comfort, dignity, and respect. I will be attending a fund raiser sponsored by John C Fremont Home Health & Hospice on Saturday, August 1 in Mariposa, California, and will donate $2.00 for each and every book and audio book I sell. I am also donating $1.00 for every handmade bookmark that is sold to this fine cause. However, because I want this to be a "smashing" success for Hospice, I have opted to donate $2.00 for each book and audio book sold through this site or any other web site as well. Thus, if you purchase one of my books from Amazon.com or any other site between now and August 1, please e-mail me and let me know how many copies of each title you purchased so I can get the funds to Hospice. I would really like to help these less fortunate people in need, as well as their families--who are also suffering--in whatever way I can. Too many times they are forgotton or ignored because people don't want to be bothered by things that make them feel uncomfortable. Thus, I would like to challenge everyone to help someone in need in whatever way possible, even if it's just offering your time at a charity event. It is a true blessing.
