International Coach Federation Coaching Certification Achieved I am happy to announce that I successfully achieved my certification in the International Coach Federation, Federal Coach Training Program. This program was open to a limited number of Federal employees seeking an active role in transforming the leadership capacity of the Federal Government. This program was very intense and consisted of 132 hours of live and virtual coach-specific training, practice and written assignments, and an oral exam over a seven-month period.
The program objectives were very specific: 1) build a cadre of internal
federal coaches across Government; 2) foster a culture of coaching within
Government by encouraging candid and respectful conversations between
managers and employees; and, 3) promote creativity in problem solving and performance improvement.
This has been a very challenging and rewarding experience and I am very excited about what the future holds. Graduation is in March 2016.🎓
