At this time I am unable to read your awesome poetry or utilize much time on Ad, because the libraries limit time on computers and I don't know what is going to happen next in my life. I will miss those of you who seem to be more than just words in boxes.
Friendships through a computer are not real, but I have learned that, in times of need, it can be soothing to pretend they are. . .until reality hits again.
Its time for me to face reality.
I recently asked someone if it is possible to be friends with a homeless person. He quickly said, "Yes" and I kept soul searching until I found a solid answer. I found out that I can not consider anyone a REAL "friend" WHILE I am homeless, because no friend of mine would EVER remain homeless and I deserve the same from anyone whom I would consider a real "friend". I'm sorry if this seems harsh. But its just the truth. If you search your heart you will realize this.
HOWEVER, I am grateful for the "small offering" from one AD aquaintance, and I feel grateful for the genuine good wishes and prayers from a couple other AD aquaintences. You have all meant a lot to me. . .more than you can realize. I am sorry to have burdened you with my plea for help. I'll be ok one way or the other. I am sure of this. . .am trying to be anyway.
