First off, I'd like to share part of a wonderful review I received on my children's horror ebook series The Nightmare Club from In the Library Reviews. The review is by Sharyn McGinty:
"A quick exciting read THE HEADLESS PAPERBOY is a wonderful thriller for young adults. In between the thrills and chills is a story they can easily relate to. October tries hard to fit in but in the end accepts his differences, makes new friends and has an unforgettable adventure. Mr. Hopkins never loses sight of the fact this is for younger readers; there is no goriness or gross descriptions. He paints pictures with his words, creating a scary atmosphere without the gore, something very hard to do and find. I highly recommend THE HEADLESS PAPERBOY and am looking forward to book II of THE NIGHTMARE CLUB."

Some additional news items this week: As we head towards the end of the summer I begin to think of putting together a new novel. Right now it looks like my next western may be Vengeance Pass, but the title is tentative at the moment. I am also solidifying plans to bring Grimm to trade paperback, hopefully by fall's end. I have received many request for this particular book in print, so it may become a reality in time for the Christmas shopping season.
Going back to comics for a moment, I have to say horror fans may be interested in the newest issue of Witchblade(67). It has to be one of the grossest comics I have ever seen. Ugh. For those of you familiar with the TV series and not the book there are major differences, the comic being more cheesecake and many times graphic in content.
