Item: Johnny Dead is finished and off to the publisher. Am starting work on plotting the sequels to Vengeance Pass. They involve two continuing characters from that novel and are tentively titled Poison Pass and Ripper Pass.
Item: The Silver-Mine Spook is now available in trade paperback. Walmart.com is carrying it for $2 off the cover price.
Item: This week has turned into a bad adventure. We awoke Monday morning to find our car stolen. After the car was recovered we had to front the towing charges to get it back. On the next street over another stolen car of the same make was found abandoned in a driveway. Apparently the the thieves dumped it there and walked over to change vehicles.

Item: The second draught of Johnny Dead is now complete.
Item: For ABBA fans, Agnetha Faltskog, the blonde from the group, has just released her first solo CD since the mid-eighties. I highly recommend it for fans of the group and of her in particular. It contains older songs--A Fool Am I, Fly Me To The Moon, The End of the World, etc.--done with full orchestral backing. Her voice is as sweet and strong as it was in her ABBA days. The CD is titled My Coloring Book and can be ordered from www.amazon.co.uk.

Item: Vengeance Pass has been accepted for publication in hardcover. This marks my 20th novel for Robert Hale.
Item: The first draught of Johnny Dead, my next western, is finished. This one came kinda tough compared to the last, but I think once it's ready it will be worth the effort!
Item: I would like to wish everyone who celebrates it a Happy Easter. I wish each and every one of you much success and happiness in the coming months.

Item: I finished Vengeance Pass yesterday and will ship it off to the publisher tomorrow. This one is a mystery/western, which I hope to make into a series. II have already begun preliminary work on the plot for the next called, Johnny Dead.
Item: The first Randall & Hopkirk, Deceased DVD set is now available. For those in the US, this is a little seen (in this country) British tv show that came out in the late 60s and appeared in syndication on US tv as My Partner the Ghost. It's a geat show.
Item: Work is commencing on the Black Horse Express, a newsletter for Black Horse westerns and general western fans and readers my Black Horse list hopes to have available soon. More news as it progresses.
Item: My next large print trade paperback entry will be The Silver-Mine Spook by Lance Howard. It will be available in May.
Item: Have spent a couple past Sundays playing with a music group that goes to nursing homes. A great time and got to meet some wonderful people.

Item: Ladigan has been accepted by the publisher.
Item: The first draught of Vengeance Pass is complete. I wrote feverishly from Wednesday to Saturday. It's another western with a mystery angle that has series potential.
