A Year Without Mirrors 9/30/2004 7:25:05 PM
I've recently noticed some real major improvements in my general self concept. I am much more kindly to my body, much more confident about my looks and happier to wear what I wear, in or out.
The last couple of days I had some real breakthrough insights and revelations about many things to do with self worth and this morning, I got to wondering how that came to be.
BeauTy had much to do with it. The Freedom Spells as well were transformational and elemental to the process.
But what helped it immensely was that I have spent the last year in a house without mirrors.
I just never put any up and as I don't wear make up nor engage in the curling or styling of the hair, found after a day or two that I don't need one.
When I catch sight of myself in shop window reflections and mirrored columns in supermarkets and such, I am intrigued and often find myself smiling at myself.
I am about to move into house that does contain mirrors once again. It will be interesting to see how that is different now, from the very first greeting in the morning I shall give myself. I hope that I will be a good and loving companion to myself now and greet me with a smile, no matter what the weather.
