Well it's officially over now - the HypnoDream Trilogy is now completed.
I received the master this morning and what can I say.
LOL ...
Anyone who's ever received a HypnoDreams CD in the mail, put it on the headphones and did the whole thing in one sitting will know that the effects are somewhere between having been run over by a bus, abducted by aliens or the like.
One comes back with the distinct feeling that one isn't quite the same as one was before, only you can't know what has changed or how that came to be!
I *love* that about the HypnoDreams. That we haven't a CLUE what they're really for, what they do, or how they really work.
I also think Ananga and I were exceptionally brave to let our "other aspects" take this whole thing over completely and not get in the way.
Without ever arguing with any of it or even asking to know what they are before doing them exactly as we're "told" to do them.
I know for a fact that we have been repayed more than manifold for giving our "other aspects" the leeway to do what they wanted us to do - in creativity, in competence and in confidence.
It's been an extraordinary trip and I can't speak for Ananga, of course, but personally I wouldn't know just where to start to list the blessings and benefits.
In making them, but also in HAVING them be here and partaking off them just the same as anyone else would.
I still can't look up at the sky and see a cloud without an immediate lifting "and we are all things that you can conceive ..." from dear Wisdom of the Water. Which I turn to when I need major flow re-alignment. Not to mention Ocean Wood and Ice River. Receiving the Colours. Precious and The Child.
All together, what a box of remedies, holidays, soothers, lifters, shifters ...
They're all different and I knew when I "did the whole CD" this morning, I was doing something as silly as getting a whole Aromatherapy kit and throwing all the essences on myself at the same time!
LOL.
The third one was a long time in coming, and for a long time I didn't really know WHY we were waiting or what we were waiting for. The major scripts were written up to a year ago for that, there was no good reason to not do it ... Or was there...?
A couple of months ago I started turning my mind towards what might be "beyond HypnoDreams".
That in and of itself is a very WEIRD concept, because one might think that anything beyond "Our Dimensions" for example is in a place that turns you into an alien by immersion instantly :-)
But it came to pass that I came up with the concept of combining Art Solutions and HypnoDreams to make DIRECTIONAL hypnodreams - hypnodreams with a purpose.
Not that the current ones don't have a purpose, they do, it's just we don't know what it is and so it becomes very difficult to write an advertisement - hahahaha ...!
So the new generation, called the Post HypnoDream Project or PHDP for short, is a SOLUTION for a common problem. Only the solution has been provided by the "other aspects" and thereby represents something very different than what one might expect an "anti-anxiety treatment" for example would consist of.
When I told Ananga about this for the first time, something quite dramatic happened - the production of Freedom took wings, immediately.
The actual reason why we had been hanging around and dragging out making it was that we DID NOT WANT IT TO END.
Both of us enjoyed the processes of MAKING THEM so very much, we just really had no incentive to make the LAST one and then it would be all over.
By discussing the PHDPs we went BEYOND THE END and into a new thing, a new territory that is other than but immensely exciting, whole new set of challenges to prepare for - but with the experience and practice (and what we've learned about the long term effects of USING the HD's!) behind us this time.
A new level, like a new paradigm.
And so it wasn't so much now that the HD Trilogy was an end, but it became something that had to be completed so we could move on to the NEW.
As soon as I wrote and recorded the first of the new PHDPs, Star Diamond, Freedom went into overdrive.
This is a really interesting double feedback loop from the New to the Current and the Old.
Life isn't linear, and certainly not bit by bit.
We could wonder if we could have ever finished Freedom at all if we didn't have the PHDPs to draw the whole thing forward and beyond.
This is in energy terms, a really important general move and principle.
It exists everywhere, from relationships to words on a page - and it is a high flow principle that has probably a lot to answer for, keeps people stuck in unfortunate places if they don't understand it or haven't discovered it.
Like, I said it was like having been a pilot and loved to fly, and now you can't fly anymore so you take a job in the ground crew. That kind of stuff breaks your heart and your spirit, you'd be better off farming somewhere and discovering the joys of shiny tomatoes than endlessly hanging on to the old like that, makes you into a has been and what's the joy in that?
With artists and especially writers, this could have a lot to answer for.
If it's an album you're working on or a book, if there's nothing beyond it, the bereavement when "it" is "finished" is immense. To try and overcome this, we falsely then get massively involved in the funeral rites - editing and re-editing, interacting with it post production, going to book signings, appearing on Top of the Pops, but that's NOT where the joy is.
The joy was when you sat and MADE THE THING, when you were in the PROCESS of creativity and expression.
I wonder how many people who are sitting on a "nearly finished" book, album, movie script, relationship (LOL) and other such things, half planted gardens, half decorated houses, half finished doctor's thesises and so on would find that they can finish these things with a beautiful and delightful flourish - IF THEY ALREADY KNEW WHAT THE NEXT THING was going to be!
That way there's no end, only current joy of creation and always something to look forward to, a new challenge to rise to, and a real forward flow which is how reality really works.
It's a wonderful thing.
