A major aspect in writing a good Novel that will sell. Once you’ve got your readers attention with your story, you must keep them interested in your story, until the final chapter How do you do this? One way is to make your characters struggle. You make your characters face choices, while allowing the reader to anticipate their decisions from what they know about the character so far. When your characters struggles, readers can identify with them. Life can be difficult at times and readers know this. Even if your readers have not struggled with the problems your character is facing, they can still identify with his /or her feelings. Its important to remember that Characters don’t always have to be perfect. In fact its hard to identify with a character who never fails, never gets angry, or makes mistakes, like the rest of the world. Many readers identify with characters that are less than admirable. Why? Because the character struggles, suffers. He’s human, and has emotions just like the rest of us!
