Opportunities open in Non-Fiction writing field. The World Of Non-Fiction
Perhaps you have been following my blog, and maybe even like the useful tips on writing, but your not into fiction. You might be saying to yourself, this is all good but I want to go into non-fiction…so what avenues are available to me as a writer. Well then this blog is especially for you . The field of non-fiction is very broad, and is based on facts . You may choose to be a reported for a newspaper, reporting events that are happening in you particular area or events around the world. You may be interested in writing Informative articles which can be about any interesting subject that effects your community or a specific group of people. There is always an interest in “How-To- Articles”. These articles show a step by step ways of doing something, and give instructions on how to achieve a specific result. Interviewing is always open to you. A feature that showcases a newsworthy person, his achievements, career, and his life.
Perhaps you have traveled a lot and have helpful tips on the places you’ve been that might interest others. Then maybe writing travel articles might be in your future. If your really daring, you might want to choose the field of “Investigative Reporter” We see so much of this today on television. Usually the these writers reveal information that is usually controversial and often explosive to the persons they are investigating, but needful for the public to know. There are so many avenues.
Historical or Biographical- describing events from history. This usually requires many hours of research, and is very precise in details. Do you like reading reviews about the movies, plays, dance, drama, the arts? Then maybe you could be a Reviewer … a “critic” and inform others about what happening in the world of entertainment. And there are even more openings for you., like writing only for a specific field., like Medical articles, Religion, Nutrition, Sports, Business and finance . Take your pick. The world of Non-Fiction writing is wide open to you, and waiting !
