Choosing Your Career Path Based on Your Inspiration in Life 5/1/2019 11:41:42 AM
I believe that if you choose to follow your inspirations,more often then not,they will lead you to your career path. Having an inspiration aids much in determining what career path to choose. It may be that someone in the family has gained your respect and admiration for what she does. She has influenced your way of thinking and wanted to be like her one day, a teacher. All your efforts will then be geared towards fulfilling this dream.
In pursuing your career path, always think of your inspiration and what skill or attitude does she have that you want to match. For example, she was good at teaching and forming the behavior of children. What inspires you is the relationship that she was able to nurture with her students.
When choosing this career path, it will mean matching your ideal attitude with hers or be more skilled at what you do. You may outshine your role model as you can also discover a potential that she does not have. You may be inspired to look at other role models also.
The best thing to learn from an inspiration is a good work ethic. Having that will edge you further to a successful career path. This will empower you to become a well-rounded teacher or professor. You can surpass anyone’s competence by being proficient in a certain subject you are good at. Your inspiration will drive you to excel in many areas.
When choosing a career path based on your inspiration will allow you to even transcend to something else worth exploring. You may take other disciplines and explore other opportunities for advancement.
It may be that you shift to another career path other than teaching but the love of children has remained your inspiration. Not only through teaching can you have a job dealing with children. There are social work, healthcare, and others. Your main goal is to make a difference with the kind of profession you choose to undertake.
It is possible that you made your choice of a career path based on what inspired you, not on who inspired you. The person may be instrumental in showing you a more meaningful passion and that is what has drawn you to her. It is important that you are happy with your choice and achievement. When you are driven by inspiration, nothing can stop you from pursuing your choice of a career path.
Sometimes a career path chooses you rather than you choose it. You were ardent about teaching but got inspired by an immersion class about social work. It fuels your desire to be more relevant to society. But your inspiration remains the same. Whatever is your motivation, as long as it fulfills your desire to serve and share your knowledge and experience, you will be inspired to carry and stay on that career path or pursue another that has a positive impact for you and society. You have to understand what truly drives you to choose a career path and what your role model has influenced you. The opportunities are out there and waiting to be tapped.
