I hate Sundays, and I know that's awful. I know that Sunday is supposed to be a day of worship...the day that God rested after creating Earth and all that. But Sunday is my laundry day...and it sucks!! It's not too bad, I guess, I don't mind folding my clothes, maybe deciding what I'm going to wear tomorrow or what outfits I'll dress my girls in...I don't even really mind hefting the basket up and down the stairs. What I friggin' HATE is mating socks. It would seem to be a simple enough task, a pair of socks goes in the wash then into the dryer and into the basket, right? Then, after all else is folded and put away, you have this pile of socks. You start mating and, low and behold, there's always a few lonely socks that have no match. Hold up, you know that BOTH socks went in, so where's the other one??? Did the dryer EAT it?? I know this is something silly to write about, but come on!!! Every Sunday, I have this pile of socks that have no mates and I have to leave it cluttering up my bedroom because if you should happen to throw the socks away (like any normal person would do) the missing mates magically re-appear the next time you do laundry. Whatever, I guess we have little gnomes pulling socks out of the wash just for the simple pleasure of watching it aggravate us..kinda like the underpants gnomes on South Park LOL Sorry, had to vent, but I know that everyone has probably had this happen at some point or another.
