So what is it going to be today? Let’s see, should I try to write more of that novel I was working on…no, what about that children’s book sitting in the corner that calls to me often? No, no.  I really should be sending out more press kits to promote my new book. But what the heck, no one has responded to the ones I have sent out so far so I have been feeling like a fool. I ask my self why I do the things I do, but I never get a complete answer.

Life is rough in the writing world especially if you have another job that at least puts the bread on the table.  I have been writing for many years and have earned not so much from my writing, but that doesn’t make me want to quit. Writing is my world. I even keep a lap top computer next to my bed because there are nights when I either can’t sleep or I am having a brain storm. I need to make sure all my thoughts get down.
