A new Baby on the way. 5/25/2007 2:28:29 PM

I am really starting to get excited these days. My one and only grandson turned 15 years today and the memories of his birth and all the time I ahve spent with him in those past 15 years is enough for a novel. He was more to me than a grandson...in someaspects he was as if he were my child to raise and show the ropes of life to. My daughter was too young to have a baby at 18 and could have cared less about his needs. I do compliment her on her drive to work hard, put herself through college and has a very good job. But in order for her to do that she had to leave the bringing up of her child by me. I was enthralled since after 2 children I was told I could not have any more because of serious medical reasons. He brought back life in my world and I showered him with all the love and attention any child needs.
Now my daughter is to have a little girl at the end of August. My grandson is thrilled about it and tells his mother that he is going to show his sister the ropes of the world. I asked if I could help. As he grinned back at me he stated,"Of course Nana. You're the best teacher I know. We will all enjoy my new sister and grow with her."
I just smiled and now I am counting the days to when my new grandaughter will arrived. I have already seen her moving about on the sonagram. Gee, she looks just like my daughther...and pretty active as well.
