It has been a very nice few weeks these past two weeks. I hooked up with several friends and did things I haven't done in a long time.  It wa snice to visit and share my work with others of a non writing proffession.

I first went to visit an older friend who doesn't read nor does she have much interest in poetry. I was honored when she asked me to read some of my work from my book, "Colored Snow Flakes". She complimented me by telling me that I read my work with feeling and I had explained someareas where I felt she may not understand. She was delighted. She told me many of my poems were very deep and would last forever.

Another of my friends was honored by me reading my novel I am working on , "The Chameleons".  It was funny as she had me follow her around as she watered her gardens and I read my novel. Again, here is another woman that is very picky about what she reads. I was suprised when she asked me to continue. I read to her for two days. I was even surprised myself how good it sounded and now I have the itch to continue it. I had not read that particular story in 7 months. See it pays to put your work away and then come back to it.  Now I have to make the time to get back to something that I really think is going to sell big. Love/romance, murder mystery, Mafia and more. I already have another author that has asked to review it as soon a I get it polished up and finished.
