A little contest against myself 12/7/2006 4:35:42 PM
I've decided to create a little contest for myself. I'm expanding upon a story bud in a limited amount of time. A story bud is what I call a snippet of idea for a story which you jot down now and plan to develop later.
I ran across another story bud, and decided that I will develop it into a story (either short or short-short) in the next two hours. Hopefully. But the idea is to write it, revise it, and publish it to AuthorsDen at the end of the two hours. I don't know it I can do that or not. If it's terrible, or still completely undeveloped at the end of that time, I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe post another blog, titled "I LOST," or something like that.
I originally saved the story bud under the name "PG & E." Of course, it may have a different name by the time I finish it. PG & E is the name of the gas and electric company that provides service to Philadelphia, PA. I lived there for a while and heard people referring to it before I ever found out what it was, so it always seemed a little mysterious. (I felt that way, though, even once I found out what it meant. Go fig.)
