HI.
Well, I am working on that story that I was going to develop in a little contest against myself. Or, against the clock, rather. But I guess (once I recuperated from extreme exhaustion) that this little story deserves my full attention.
I do like the time-challenge idea as a way to just get the ideas out and to write unselfconsciously. I mean, you have to be, because there's no time for self-reflective shyness, hesitation or perfectionism. So I may do that again yet, as an exercise. I did state that I want to build self-discipline in this career. My chosen career! How exciting! (I just had a little moment.)
In any case, I am working on that story (PG & E). It ended up being much more science-fiction-y than I thought it would have to be for the story to make sense. But then it ended up being cooler than I had envisioned, so I guess it all works out! Who knows what it'll look like when I'm done? I plan to post it (in its undone state, yes) as soon as I incorporate my latest edits and it's somewhat cohesive.
