I'm shocked by some people's choice of words
It's interesting -- The very thing Obama and his (black) community has fought so hard for, is being ignored by his own supporters.
Politics aside; First amendment aside; I find it shameful how some 'poets' here on the den express their feelings about Bush leaving office. Without taking side, I'm simply referring to the R-E-S-P-E-C-T a human being deserves, especially one that has been the leader of the greatest nation on earth.
Do you really believe what your verses say? That Bush is the sole responsible for air pollution, the economy, the war? That Bush should be categorized as a 'Bin Laden'? That Bush has completely destroyed this country? That Bush should know that suicide doesn't hurt?
Come on people -- show some dignity. I don't care if you did or didn't agree with what this man has done (or hasn't done) for or with this country. But don't forget: he WAS re-elected, and NEVER impeached. God knows I surely didn't always agree with him, but that doesn't give me the right (although the first amendment disagrees with me) that I should openly smear a man whose heart is filled with love for this nation.
Ahh -- of course, I forgot. If I believe what you write; this man has a black hole where everyone else's heart beats.
