My old washing machine finally spin cycled itself to death and now resides on the curb. Saturday was spent on the trail of the ultimate bargoon yard sale and I braced myself for a day of disappointment. My lucky leprechaun must have been smiling on me because the first place I hit had a washer AND dryer for fifty bucks.
With the help of a neighbor and his truck, we went up to the ninth floor of the luxury condo on Cocoa Beach to load up the goods. What a view!! The ocean stretched out in front of us and the Banana River Lagoon was in back. I don’t think these folks needed the fifty bucks. They just wanted the stuff gone so they could re-model. I think I want to be rich when I grow up.
Anyway, everything works great and I don’t have to wring out the clothes by hand anymore. This means that today I can go to the beach and get some sun with friends. The bikini girls should be strolling along the sand all day. Don’t you just love lucky leprechauns?
