How long should a person wait for a return call or an email response? I got a friend who I have asked to do something for me and my non profit organizaton. I believe that she really has done most of what I asked, however I have not heard from her in about a month. I have emailed her at least three times during the month. Each time she tell me that she is just putting on the final touches. I really need what she is doing for me and I don't want to make her think that I am bothering her. She is great at what she does and I know that she can sometimes get busy with other pressing projects, but I do need to move forward with my project also. Unfortunatly I can't move on without her imput. So how long is to long to wait and when do you start looking for someone else to do the project? The project will cost about $ 50,000. which I have to raise through donors. Her fee for her services can only be paid if I have a finished project to present to the doners. I think we have had a great working relationship but I feel somewhat stuck. The project she is doing will also give me significant promotion for my book. Helpful communications tips very much appreciated.
