I don't mind telling you that I was impressed when I read Sage Sweetwater's news item! Blue Sage Productions is now producing wine! Now I call that a real market upswing!

Authors...you may not be able to produce wine...
But, based upon your book/storyline, there might be something that you can use to promote sales...
How about a mug promoting the historical event that you highlighted in your book?
Or some type of Halloween mask or decoration for your horror book?
Are you selling a poetry book? Got a web site? Offer to create a poem just for that person (or a friend) when they buy your book...
Nonfiction??? Consider offering your services as a speaker for civic or library groups...but be sure you are capable of speaking in public...don't commit yourself beyond your capabilities.
Did you travel to the site where your book is set? Took pictures? Consider some type of video or picture giveaway!
Let your mind be creative...or ask your friends what they thought of when they read your book(s). How can you use those thoughts to publicize and market...
