WRITTEN FOR A CHARACTER IN MY lastest, upcoming novdel, "A Toast To The Fool" Enjoy!
What I feel is often revealed in the way I sigh When hurt starts to commence…I have to real defense against my lack of pretense No matter how hard I try. What I feel is often revealed in the way I move When pain is all my heart has gained…My every motion makes my world more insane No matter the game…I seem to always lose. What I feel is often revealed in the way I look When sadness seems to consume every dark room…in my soul I lose all control It’s like the stillness of my world has been shook. I’m lost in an ocean of emotion. I’m drowning into lost love’s weary waves. I’m barely treading water; no longer coastin’ Heart ache’s horror taking away all love ever gave. The current is so strong, it crushes my spirit. So loud am I hurting, that over thunder you can hear it My loneliness cries beyond my eyes; underneath my hair… My heart is trapped in a waterfall of darkness and despair. Written By: Tracie E.
