In joy or sorrow In expectation or fear of tomorrow I call on you I reach for you In you I find shelter In you I find strength You grant me the courage to continue on Without you pain is permanent And brighter days are make-believe But Lord I trust in you to lead and guide My shelter from the rain The one who loves me unconditionally It’s raining Lord… Cover me Hold me close don’t let me go I need you Lord right away In you I trust and believe Draw nigh onto me My Lord and King
