Yesterday was beautiful The sun was shining bright But something must have happened As I slept throughout the night When I looked out this morning Things just didn’t look the same The day is dark and dreary With fog and misty rain It’s amazing what a day can change And not only weather wise But too, with things concerning us As we live out our lives One thing we need remember When things seem dark for me and you Is that just above the clouds of gray There is still a sky of blue Jack Roberts – May 19, 2003
