I never got confronted with any negativity in here and do not know about details, but I agree. Don't let such people interfere with the good work and the great writers in here.

amen! i have decided to take a few days is all to get my bearings together, then i will be back. i was planning on taking a month or two, but i have decided that y'all are too precious to just leave, and so i will be back later this week. i am sorry for all that has happened, but i can't let the den terrorists win, and i just can't leave y'all hanging. so i will write, but i will be selective on what i write. if someone chews my work, so what. so be it, but i am glad i have more people who support and enjoy my work than not. but they don't have to be cruel about it, and i am letting y'all know this: the next time one of these sickos strike, i WILL take action. no more miss nice girl; i am tired of all the attacks, not just against me (though i don't get it as much as some, and NOBODY Should have to be subjected to ANY attacks!). all i can hope is for someone who is the head here to take action against these sickos, if this can be done, and pray for the sickos' souls and minds. thanks for all the support you have shown me since i have been here, but i feel i must rest for a few days, then i will be back. Absolutely...best plan is to ignore and carry on doing what we all love to do - share our work with each other and be supportive. People who come here for other reasons simply need to GET A LIFE ! This is a great poem Jack.

that I disagree Jack on one line
that being this line:
'For it’s not the killing kind'
I would disagree with this as I think it can actually kill someone... I know someone
who almost died from an attack by fellow poet...they got hit by that virus (the one you just mentioned)and came pretty close to being killed by it...someone weaker would have jumped off a bridge or worse but the one I write of survived it due to their strong belief in God.Another may not have survived.One day someone will end it all due to the cruelty,it will happen one day,it is just a matter of time... not all are as strong as you or I Jack. I think,truly,it can kill.
Your poem is astute considerate wise and profound.Excellent poem.Thank you for doing it.

Amen, Jack. It is sad to see everyone leave, but tides will once more turn. People will leave and they will return again. It has happened before and will again. Our love for the Den and what we stand for will always see us through.
