This poem is written by a friend of mine Wanda Twellman. I would like to introduce her to you and let you all enjoy her work. I believe she has great talent. Let her know what you think.

Jack

Dreams

A dream once found, is easily lost,
A broken heart will know the cost.
The hope that fades, will lead to fears,
Of loneliness and bitter tears.

A chance not taken is always a loss,
A rolling stone, covered in moss.
The listening soul can always hear,
A crying heart in night so drear.

Take my hand and walk with me,
Perchance another love to see.
Let's seek a dream that once was lost,
And let the devil pay the cost.

A hope that bloomed so long ago,
Now is given room to grow.
Another chance has come our way,
It's up to us to make it pay.

Both of us are waiting to hear,
Three little words, so precious and dear.
But neither one will tell the other,
How long dare we wait my silent lover?

A dream twice found is forever lost,
Our broken hearts will know the costs.
