for Silke
Do we turn or is all else turning round us?
If we turn I know we turn for the better
Perhaps so much that equipoise has found us

Which chains to the wheel of life which grinds the mill
I feel at last as though we are transcending
And though the mill grinds still as it always will
Our bondage to its ups and downs is ending

Of learning by a world trying hard to die
As someone who is also recovering, I know too well what this struggle entails. It is not only a struggle for the one afflicted but for their loved ones. You are a special man Steven and I admire you for your love and support of Silke.
