my fingers are itching to complicate it...

If I can simply stay out of my way
I think this is the way to go.
Point me in the right direction
and give me a little nudge

I double-dare you!
I’m leading the way
with a trembling heart
Pushing my boundaries further
and further…
Beyond where I have never gone before.
One has to wonder
Yes. I have to ask myself that question
What is it with simplicity that scares me so
at times?
I think it’s time to uncomplicate
this complication of mine
And I think that in the end
That might just turn out to be
the most complicated thing
