Poem Artwork

Songbird
Carry your message of love
on the white wings of a dove,
floating in tranquility through air
on waves of sound ever so fair.

Bring peace and restore the shelter within,
soft, pillowy, down, a caress cross the chin.
Ethereal strike notes, send reeling,
as soundwaves hit the ceiling.

The matter so to speak is within each stroke of the key,
resonate, chime, bells toll as we,
lift, higher, higher, up and onward we soar,
strike balance in this universe forever more,
it shall live on when we are gone.

A voice so clear,
on poetrys wings
beautiful message
appear.

Beauty also held in the dark,
where you forever have lit a spark.

Never fear your work shall shine clear,
for as long as there are ears to listen,
these tones shall glisten.
For as long as there are means to play,
these tunes in minds will stay.

Hold on, don't falter, stear steady, course
will appear as the road comes clear,
in minds eye beauty will grow,
on vines your musical roses will glow

Like the inspirational song, The Sparrow, music carries us too much fireplaces…

"Don't you know that you are my hero, you are the wind beneath my wings." Sung by Bette Midler.
