Poem Artwork

Messenger of love
I'll make you this vow
Always and forever
trust and we will never
part from this dream
it'll be as good as it seems

There will be days of doubt
days where words will be shroud
in bitterness' dark cloak as we
hurt from others arrows before we see
the light in eachothers heart again
and so it is that love will remain

With each year that pass
our hearts will be further from the past
This I know can be
the future for you and me

In our minds light lives duality,
drawn to dark, that mask quality
of the life that we live
This is the way of the searchers mind,
constantly evaluate life to find
further meaning, further glory,
to sprinkle golden dust on our story

We would like our love to be spotless and clean
but that is never the case, because inbetween
the joys we are subjected to the stress in this world
that will color our life and make it seem absurd
Jealousy of sharpened tounges will seek to find
a reason to topple over our peace of mind
We must beware of this, seek shelter in our heart
so as to prevent this maliciousness to make us part

Should we start to hurt eachother
and not look inside our minds to bother
solving the issue at hand,
that will be the final stand
The time when we must part
to take care not to blacken our hearts

I know I promised eternal love,
but that my love, depend on the seeds we sow
The ones that lie hidden in our souls mind
or the ones that are sprinkled in plain sight across the land

A lot of promises made in this poem of love that will have to be kept intact through the turmoil of life ahead.
