Just a fun little poem of years gone by and how our bodies change. Hope it brings back memories and puts a little smile on your face!
Tight shirts, Mini skirts, This is how it used to be! Daisy Dukes, My friend Luke, Life was fun and carefree! Hangin with friends, Til the night ends, Driving to the old hangouts! Circling the town, With the top down, Parents didn’t know our whereabouts! But all that’s gone, Including my thong, Which was worn with so much pride. In my jeans you could tell, It showed so well, There wasn’t very much to hide! Now all the lace, Has been replaced, With undies I’ve seen my granny wear. And a body so tight, Has went out of sight, Yet I still get some stares! But could it be, They are starring at me, As my flubber bounces in the wind? A lot of wiggling, Gets them giggling, I just smile and pretend! It's hard to resist, Letting my hips twist, As I now walk down the street, Swishing and swaying, I’m just saying, My body still carries a beat! Let me say, I smile each day, Even though my body has changed, But don’t you think, I can’t wiggle and wink, Things have just been rearranged. My shorts may be longer, And the stretch is stronger, Yes, time has taken its toll, I may be sagging, And maybe I’m bragging, But I can still shake, rattle and roll! By C.G.
