In praise of ladies of the world.

To ladies, I propose a toast
And all you lovely girls.
Please let me be poetic host,
Hear wisdom in my words.
Velvet can’t compare as much
As kiss from your sweet lips.
Or soft and gentle, loving touch
From slender finger tips.
A walk to make men fantasize
With gentle sway of hip.
Flashing eyes that tantalise,
As drink you slowly sip.
Though we chase relentlessly,
You catch us in the end.
And coy though you appear to be,
Our ears you always bend.
Arguments we never win,
‘gainst one as skilled as you,
Our logic always seems so thin,
Your barbs, so sharp and true .
Information’s stored away
At back of your sharp brain.
At later dates you make us pay,
And bring it up again.
You know that we could never find
Another one like you.
You always blow our tiny mind
And blow our wallets too.
You take our hearts you little flirt
And take our love as well.
You rub our noses in the dirt,
But always ring our bell.
In our hearts the pain doth rage
And in our lonely soul.
When you make fun of our old age,
Or of our shrivelled pole.
You tease us with your sexy stance,
And bottle full of booze.
You stand there in your bra and pants
And high stiletto shoes.
What can we do when drive has gone?
Our manhood we can’t use?
You’ll find one new to turn you on,
While we finish the booze.
How do we all put up with you?
Our friends they cannot sus.
They just don’t see, although it’s true ,
That you put up with us.
So ladies drink and have a ball,
Whether tall or short or stout,
Though we can’t live with you at all,
We cannot live without.

I kept chuckling as I read as though you read their minds. The fact that I will never "shrivel up," nearly blows their minds. But the rest of it is true blue. I did sense a bit of the old "blueness" in this that will probably get it banned. ;-)

I'm with you all the way, except for the part about
that "shrivelled pole." For 20 grand pole doctors can
make it stand and stand...long after you are gone.

Is not easy letting it all out
Should have saved some for future days

Thank you Ken for posting this piece
'Twas a most enjoyable read.
Peace be with you
