pt.2 of What Next

 YESTERDAY

The officer from yesterday
Called me up for a date
He says hello this is Roger the officer from yesterday
I looked you up
Your credit score stinks but your driving record is great
Officer that’s how the ball bounces sometimes
Overall this old heart of mine is genuine
Yes precious lady this I know
For your spirit has a special glow
Since our meeting yesterday
I can’t get you off of my mind
With you I need to spend some present- future time
Ok so where do we go from here
Rog says honestly I want to get you close and keep you near
I called you for a date what’s your schedule like
Well Rog I work Mon-Fri from 9-5
Honey I don’t mean to put a rush on you
At around 7pm can I come through
Wow Rog you are moving fast
Precious moments in life just don’t last
Baby I intend on being your forever man
The one you come to
 Run to
I am the one that will always comfort you
