you
looked twice
briefly
in my direction

i
turned around
quickly
ashamed
that you had caught me
staring

i
apologize
not for the stare
but
for the fear

for had i
had the
grace
to smile
we
might have
come
to know
each other

but now
we'll
never know
the never was
that might have been

Incedible write....so often two
may eye each other...both r nervous
