I PRAY FOR YOU

There come mornings of mourning,
A nightmare flowing
Where a loved one suddenly
Enters the death valley.

He was like any other, full of dream,
Craving not to soon see the Supreme;
At a time where his hopes grow
He succumbs under an awful blow.

That invisible hitter,
Horrible monster,
Shattered his chain in Hell,
His poison on earth to dispel.

I would really like to lay him
Between the anvil and the Hammer,
Hit him to be as untouchable as a beam
To hurt no more any made of the creator.

Our eyes! unperceivable in the air,
Cannot catch him nowhere.
However, it is so close,
It gets into our nose.

I pray for you brother
That the “I”
Whose eye
The unseen can discover,

Lay on him his mighty hand.
He is our savior
And owns the power
To this plague contend

Our intelligence, soon may get over
But with his help, we will make it faster.
I pray for you brother
To resist the disaster.

I wish I could revive
All those that are gone,
But I can barely stay alive.
This task is God’s alone.

Believe! A new sun will rise,
The air will be clean
In oblivion will vanish our cries
And joy our heart will come in.
