Twist dry the handkerchief I am handing you,
I wish tomorrow be totally new,
But its rivers of mysteries
Are still subject of inquiries.

Pessimistic, I just don’t want to be ,
But I cannot remember,
If there was ever
A century of disasters free.

Since we were kicked out of the holy Garden,
Were filled with less joy than pain,
Those canals from our eyes’ fountain
Bearing witness of what made us human.

Keep dry the handkerchief!
Ebola has not finished yet
When that slayer playing the chief
Is out there claiming a debt.

Be not afraid brother!
Like Leprosy, the Swim flu or the Pest
We will pass the test
And will be stronger.

Hey! they are all gone,
Humankind does not disappear.
Better tools now we own
To chase out our fear.

Raise boundaries, restrain contacts,
Loving each other at a distance
Will for facts,
Limit the pestilence.

Do not be afraid sinners!
Our debt collectors
Will make no noise
While handing us our invoice.

God made us intelligent
And will give us the remedy
Allowing us to repent
Before the final tragedy.

Be not afraid brother,
He is full of mercy.
Obey! love one another
To deserve his clemency.
